My first comic is now available for purchase on Comixology! A big thanks to the comixology submit program for making it happen! Follow the link and try it out. I made it pretty cheap and it should be an entertaining, if not interesting, read. http://cmxl.gy/1HqnwvL Enjoy!
Hello Again, everybody! I have apparently been doing this for two years now, and I figured I would commemorate my anniversary with some Inktober Inking, Some Ghostbusters, and my own spin on a classic monster. Above is my first in a series of images commemorating the ghostbusters, with theis first one showing off Egon. A better scan is coming.
And here we have a first look at a lead character from a new comic project of mine. Here is my vampire.
For those of you who don't know, This is Italian Spiderman...
Now
that you know, you'll understand why I want to dedicate some artwork to
it. The goal is to Italian Spider-ise the world of Spider-man.
This
week, the spider is on the run from two deadly threats he cannot anticipate. First up is a rendition of the classic villain Kraven, turned into Cacciatore, the hunter who seeks the most dangerous game...Spider!
Second we have the universal foe and modern nightmare that is technology run amok! Here we have The Living Automatic Robot Machine!
Another dump of images that I've been working on for the past few weeks. Might as well get them out here, right? So here we have some renditions of The Flash, Captain Cold, Giganta, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Star Sapphire, Powergirl, and Ultra Humanite.
You see it? Good. Watching that movie made me feel like I was one of those kids in the theater watching Star Wars for the first time back in 1977. Its fun, cosmic, and left me grinning from ear to ear.
Here is the start of an image series. To continue on however, I need to work on a few character designs. Here I have a few ideas for a few character redesigns.

Now

it. The goal is to Italian-Spider-ise the world of Spider-man. This week, I have for your consideration, Italian Doctor Octopus!
The mad merging of man and Mollusk... actually its a gastropod. So it would be the ghastly grouping of a guy and gastropod.
And Italian Scorpion is just a guy on a Ducati with an uzi.
Stay tuned for more.
The new Godzilla movie is out and you should go see it. Its a great summer movie and you should go see it, but more on that later. I am very happy at the resurgence of the monster movie with movies like this one and Pacific Rim. As an artist, monsters make great muses.
In honor of the new movie, I'd like to share my mini-series of animations inspired by the giant monster genre. I call it Monster Man.
Some drawings that relate to my video, if I were to draw it by hand.
Killed by a horrific crash, the mysterious Phantom
Driver has come back to life to spread send wrongdoers down in flaming
wreckage. with his fiery NASCAR and catalog of in-state endorsements, He
climbs behind the wheel and takes a left turn for justice... and
another left... and another left... and another...

Now
that you know, you'll understand why I want to dedicate some artwork to
it. The goal is to Italian-Spider-ise the world of Spiderman. Here is the continuation of the characters from the original, here we have that random Goblin, and a figure from the actual serial they made of Italian Spiderman
So today, there is a new Spider-man movie out today. I already saw it, and its pretty good. But part of me wished I was seeing a full length version of Italian Spider-man.

Now that you know, you'll understand why I want to dedicate some artwork to it. The goal is to Italian-Spider-ise the world of Spider-man. I'll start with some commemorations of the source material. And more fun will be to come!
Huzzah! I finished it! One hero for every state! It wasn't always easy as some states are so fricken boring, but I managed to get a character out of each of them. Check the link at the bottom to see them all!
New York
The Empire state is in need of a protector that can reach out and touch
everyone's needs. And for that, there is only the Fabulous Fondue, The
Human Melting Pot! With the power to alter his or her appearance at the
drop of a hat, Fondue can be every ethnicity and sex, but also not
entirely so. For in trying to be everything at once, she or he cannot
fully be anything. So if you want anything to separated, you better not
ask for the steaming hot goo that is Fondue!
Gifted with the powers of her volcanic home, Hell Hula is a
heavenly body with the mission of a saint. One hula dance from her and
evil will be all hot and bothered! Powered by a mixture of the ancient islands and a constant influx of tourism dollars, Hell Hula is equal parts mystic hero and rube magnet.
When evil gets its high-strung fingers on the community, Myrtle the
Turtle gets it to chill out. When her shell converts into a lounge
chair, Myrtle is able to relax the evil out of even the most diabolical
villain, because she's that lazy.
Larger than life, with a career as stable as a fault line,
The Starlet is a massive hit against the criminal underworld. With
conventional hotness of current attractiveness standards, she stomps
evildoers by growing as big as her popularity provides until her novelty wears off, which can be faster than the
viability of a Napa Valley Wine. But don't worry, there's always another
ready to replace her!
The Ocean State is well-protected by the miniscule might
of the Insignificant Sailor. Light enough to skip over the sea yet heavy
enough to slightly register on a villain's shoulder, this sailor surely
has one in every port... Truth, Justice, and um... that's all that will
fit.
Say his name and a thunderstorm of burning coffee will rain
down on your head. Lumberman Grungy wields the might of a Lumberjack
with the rage of a worker left too long in the rain. That rage can be
channeled into the smiting of evil or the creation of a musical fad from
the mid nineties!
Upon remembering that I had a blog, I also realized that I had meant to add to the 50 states project I had been working on. To make a long post short, here is one of the new additions of the Project!
Utah: Lord Latter-day stems from the mysterious realms of the continent.
Emanating from the very salt of the Earth comes Lord Latter-Day, the
spirit of the Mormon Church, and weilder of that most mysterious of
powers: Faith. As long as the holes in his faith aren't easily and
summarily poked through, his power is infinite!
For Anyone whose wondering where I've been or what I've been up to instead of blogging or drawing, it's all this guy's fault. Him and the other characters in that book!
That Book is the one I'm writing! Up to Chapter 42!
