TGIF
TGIF
Thank GOD it's Friday!
Rapture! The Video Game!
Huzzah! The triumphant return of TGIF! And to celebrate, I'm bringing back a piece of animation I did a few years ago. For the uninformed, between Dayton and Cincinnati, OH, there was a gigantic/horrifying statue on the side of the highway that appeared to be rising like a kaiju zombie.
It was Jesus.
Because of its appearance, it was often called "Touchdown Jesus," or "Big-Butter Jesus." Being gigantic and terrifying, the only logical thing for me to do was to convert the second coming into a monster filled video-game idea with Jesus as the main Kaiju. I called the idea: Rapture, the Video Game.
Incidentally, it actually DID get struck by lightning. Sadly it did not come to life, but I weirdly made and posted that video a few months before it got hit and burned to the ground.
Now it has been replaced by "Five-Dollar-Footlong Jesus."
I Know, I'm working on it.

Folk It!
Folk It!
Stories your mother should know.
Today is a day we celebrate things that are Irish. One of those things are folk creatures like leprechauns.
This is not a leprechaun.
This is a chlurichaun, a constantly drunk cousin of the leprechaun. Instead of gold, this mess offers a fruitful winecellar to the person who finds him.

LEGO of Me!
LEGO of Me!
Built from love, but mostly LEGO
I have made it no secret that I believe the greatest and most fun rendition of Batman hit with Adam West and the Batman TV series of the 60s. So, with that love there, I have rendered the Batmobile from that show in LEGO. What was originally a modified Ford concept car is now a pint-sized hot-rod.
After it was all finished, I was amazed at how long it was. Good luck getting a parallel parking spot Batman. There were a lot of fun angles to create and use in this one.
A long end made even longer with a blast of fire! I was a little concerned it was a little too long for a LEGO vehicle. But next to another Batmobile...
That length is about par for the course.
So is mine cooler than the other one? Mine, Naturally.
Building this beauty brought up fond memories, of my days on a Soap-Box Derby racing team by the name of "The Adam West Experience." Ah, memories.
